When we first looked at the products on the market, it was clear something was missing. Most male sex toys weren’t built to last—and certainly not built with the user in mind. After years in the industry, I saw the same pattern again and again: cut corners, chase margins, move on. So we set out to build something better. Something we would actually want to use ourselves and that gets the job done.
We started small. Very small. In the first year, I lived on €150 a month. Sometimes we paid ourselves a modest salary. Often, nothing at all. There were no dividends—everything went straight into development. During COVID, we were lucky to get some help from the government. And through all of it, your support was what kept us going.
I’ve personally read hundreds of DMs over the years—messages cheering us on, sharing feedback, ideas, and stories. They’ve meant more than you probably realise. After long weeks of work, it’s easy to get stuck on the negative ones—like a one-star review saying “use it every day, but limited BT support.” It’s not just that one—there have been others like it. They stay with me. But so do the kind messages. And those have given the extra energy needed to keep going.
We’ve been working on The Handy 2 since the day we released The Handy 1. It’s been seven years, over 200,000 units shipped, and countless lessons learned. Some of you are still using your 2017 prototypes—we still push firmware updates to them.
Now, we’re launching Handy 2 on Kickstarter. And here’s what’s new—based entirely on what you told us mattered:

Battery Powered
The Handy 2 runs on battery. No more power cable. You can just pick it up and go. And if needed, you can charge it while using it. With a 65W PD charger, it will even run directly from the charger while topping up the battery. This is a simple change that makes a big difference in everyday use.

ClickOn System
Adjusting the strap while trying to hold the device in place hasn’t always been easy. Now, you can use both hands to secure the sleeve in the strap first, then simply click The Handy into place. A magnetic system helps guide the connection—even in low light.
We’re also working on a full range of ClickOn-compatible accessories, including spinning sleeves, pressure sleeves, double band holders, a Fleshlight adapter, and more. We’ll also provide access to 3D files for those interested in creating their own.

Better Ergonomics
The Handy 2 is designed to sit at an angle that feels more natural in your hand—not pressed flat like the first version. It’s also wrapped in a soft-touch silicone that gives a completely different feel.
We originally aimed to make it waterproof, but the cost would’ve pushed it into a higher price bracket. What we ended up with is something almost splashproof. The lead screw is sealed in its own compartment, and the silicone casing protects the rest.

Handsfree Mounting Built In
Most people use The Handy handsfree. Now, you can mount it directly. Standard 1/4” holes are built into the device, and the ClickOn system works in both orientations—so you can flip the device and still use it as intended.
We’ve added two screw holes for our L-shaped adapter, which gives more robust mounting options, including VESA and our new handsfree kit.

New User Interface
The RGB light system worked, but wasn’t always easy to interpret. The Handy 2 uses an LED matrix instead. It’s clearer, better for everyday use, and especially helpful for understanding error messages.
We considered adding a proper screen, but in a product like this—vibration, fluids, storage—it just didn’t make sense. The LED matrix is more durable, more reliable and is enough for it purpuse. And it looks real cool
6.
More power, less sound
The Handy 2 is stronger—and quieter. We’ve developed a custom motor and paired it with high-precision mechanics to deliver more force with less noise. The result is a smoother, more powerful experience that stays discreet.
We didn’t add a camera. Or a microphone. Or Ethernet. Yes, people asked. But instead, we focused on what we knew we could do well, based on actual experience.
There are over 60,000 factories in China making sex toys. Most compete only on price. We chose a different path. Thanks to your support, we’ve grown from a brand nobody had heard of to something others now try to copy.
It hasn’t been easy. A lot of people have joined the team. A lot have moved on. High-paced startups aren’t for everyone. But we’ve made it through, and now we’re in a position to go one step further.
Our roadmap is bold. And like always, all profits go back into development. No dividends. Just progress.
