Dear Handy Community,
As you know, we’ve been in the process of gradually rolling out FW3. Unfortunately, there were some unforeseen bugs that affected a number of users, in particular a memory storage bug that affected the ability of some Handy units to work with scripts or to go into online mode. We are truly sorry for the frustration and uncertainty caused during this time and have been working round the clock to make sure that we fixed any issues before continuing the FW3 rollout.
We have since fixed the bugs with a new patch release FW 3.1. We are also making sure that we have a robust support system in place to specifically help anybody that has any issues related to FW3.
You can find the full release notes and further information about the FW3 rollout over at HandySetup. We strongly recommend that anyone currently on an earlier version of Firmware 3 (3.0.0 to 3.0.4) upgrade to Firmware 3.1 even if you haven’t encountered any of the bugs described to ensure the stability of the Handy.
Still, have trouble with FW3 after upgrading or having any difficulty with the upgrading process? Please send an email directly to Darren, our engineering support at firstname.lastname@example.org. Important! Please be sure to add [Firmware 3 Issue] to the subject of your email. Emails without this text in the subject will be filtered out to make sure that queries about FW3 go to the right person.
As always, we thank you for your trust and patience!
